Here’s what I do.
Some things are a couple of hours’ work. Other work can turn into much bigger projects. But whatever you need, I probably have the experience and know-how you need. And if I don’t, I’ll know someone who does.
The everyday marketing, sorted.
From a website that isn't working to a campaign that needs planning, I can pick up the jobs you haven't got time for, or help you work out where to start.
It's ideal if you don't have a marketing team, or you do but they're stretched. Think of it as having an experienced pair of hands on call, without taking on another member of staff.
Websites
I build Squarespace sites, from new sites and refreshes to landing pages, updates and fixing what isn't working. For WordPress or custom builds, I can still plan the site, write the copy and shape the design, and work with a trusted developer to build it.
Copy and Content
Website copy, blogs, emails and marketing materials. Whether you're starting from a blank page or have something that needs sharpening, I'll help you say it clearly.
Social Media
From working out what to talk about to creating the content and posting it. I offer regular, useful support, just not a daily content factory across every platform.
Advertising and Campaigns
Campaigns across digital, social, print and beyond. I'll handle it all, from the first idea and who to target, through to the creative, buying the media and showing you what worked.
Graphic Design
Smaller jobs like social graphics, ads and posters, I'll design myself. For anything bigger, from brochures to branding, I work with some amazing graphic designers, and I'll brief and manage the work so you don't have to.
General Marketing Help
Research, presentations, finding the right suppliers or software, setting something up or exploring an idea. If it's a marketing job that doesn't fit neatly into a box, ask me.
Getting the right people to apply isn't always as simple as posting a job.
Platforms change constantly, and small set-up details can quietly waste budget without you realising.
I've worked in recruitment advertising for over 25 years, from print ads to job boards and paid social. I've run campaigns for national brands like NFU Mutual, Center Parcs, Marston's and Wolseley, as well as NHS trusts, agencies and consultancies. I know how the platforms really work, so you don't have to.
Good recruitment marketing starts with understanding who you're trying to reach: where they look, what matters to them and what makes them apply. Whether it's one stubborn vacancy or a multi-location campaign, I'll look at where you're advertising, what you're spending, what candidates are seeing and what the data is telling you, then sort out what isn't working.
For bigger employer brand or research projects, I work alongside specialist partners. Because I already understand your business and audience, I can brief them properly, so the work starts in the right place.
And I'm independent, so I'll recommend what's right for your role and budget, not what suits a platform.

What will it cost?
It depends on what you need.
For smaller jobs, I usually charge by the hour. For something bigger, I'll work out what's involved and give you a cost before I start. If we need to spend money elsewhere - on media, print, software, design or anything else - I'll tell you that too.
Basically, we'll agree what I'm doing and what it's going to cost before I do it.
